Whitcomb Summit Resort Project Underway

For 94 years Whitcomb Summit has been one of the most exciting destinations to enjoy for anyone that has visited the Berkshires, and even with some of the buildings needing some loving care, many have stayed or  stopped by to take in the marvelous views that display before your eyes.

Now, the time has come to match the buildings with the incredible vistas...serene and tranquil rooms  blend in with the most unbelieveable shows that nature provides at the top of this mountain.

While planning renovations, we wanted to maintain the character of this historic landmark. In the new rooms,  you'll find a mix of great old memories blend in with modern amenities.

The pictures here are just one sample of the new rooms, each room will be slightly different from the next, but all will be very soft on the eyes because we don't want to compete with mother nature.

We are very excited about the changes and eager to be your hosts, because we are sure that you will  leave after one visit anticipating your next!

For those that have made Whitcomb Summit their home away from home over the years, you know that familiar feeling, hard to explain, but easy to recognize. No wonder why Native Americans called it the "Spirit Mountain"
